OK for you who think there are to little bots i am including this walkthru on how to "Hack" (not really) the game so u get more bots!!
Start!
Go into your BF 1942 Directory.
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 1942 Singleplayer Demo
thats the default.
ok go into settings
then into profiles
now into your directory.
mine was garic.
BUT there are also other directories that should be Default and Custom
(IF YOU DONT HAVE A DIRECTORY LIKE I DID SCROLL DOWN TILL U SEE THIS !) :eek:

Now while in your directory right click the file
GeneralOptions.con
select open
now open with notepad or another text editor.
(if you dont want to go thru this every time keep the use this program box checked)
now inside the file you should see this

game.setToolTip 0
game.setRadioToolTip 0
game.setCrossHairColor 256.000000 256.000000 0.000000
game.setStaticMinimap 1
game.setMinimapTransparency 50

game.setPercentageOfCpu 20
game.setDefaultIp 172.18.16 14567
change it to look like this

game.setConnection 2
game.setToolTip 0
game.setRadioToolTip 0
game.setCrossHairColor 256.000000 256.000000 0.000000
game.setStaticMinimap 1
game.setMinimapTransparency 50
game.setPercentageOfBots 300
game.setPercentageOfCpu 10
game.setDefaultIp 172.18.16 14567
NOW dependant on how good ur computer is u might have to lower the percentofcpu to 10 (but no lower) at 10percent you might notice that the bots sometimes do some wierd stuff. but it helps on performance!
the max percentageofbots is 400 percent. and i belive thats 63 bots.. meaning 32 per team which is ****ing crazy..
i prefer myself setting it to 200 percent.. which should be enough..
but of course the larger the amount of men the more REAL LIFE it becomes.(but a better comp it req)
finaly save the file and run the game and wala!

ok... so you dont have that directory.. i didnt have this problem so your going to have to edit the GeneralOptions.con in BOTH the custom AND default directory!
ok now we have cleared that scroll up until you see this :mad:
