The Search for a good Namehack

As I understand it, the new update for CSS stops namechanges.. but I was on a server after instaling this patch and some guy was still managing to change his name very rapidly.

Is there a good, simple namehack that will work with the update out there? I have tried HLH Namehack but I could only change it once..

1) did U update ur game?cause many servers still are not restarted/updated n u might have joined them

2) the server u join may belong to the 'other illegal' portion of css community, which may not be updated too

3) that guy had admin rights or something

i was in a server and i put the HLH 0.69 nane changer on and it worked for me ...it didnt say that i changed my name in that speak area part but it did show up when i pushed tab and when i killed people

When you have a name change script, you can do that too when you're dead. It's just that your PC changes your name already, but when it gets a message from the server saying: 'fu, it's not possible, because you're dead, it changes it back. So, the only person seeing your name change is you.

some guy put on the name changing script, can see the bottom left saying [who] changed name to [wat]

but when he died, the bottom left stopped saying the named changed thing, but in the tab scores, his name changed

but then now it might be patched,havnt seen much of a namechanger since the last update

Yes, the bottom did, but the scoretab didn't and, if you were talking, the, how you call it, rectangle below right with your name it would also change your name. But after it changed, it changed back immediately.

i can still use hlh_namechange 2 after update.

does that work with HLH 6.9 or HLH 6.0 or both

Edit: Also, do you have to bind "Hlh_namechange 2" to a key or can you activate it through the "f" hack menu? Ideally I wonat to be able to mimic the name of some guy on the server i'm raging to deter/prevent votekicks and votebans.
