Anyone ever thought about making a Maple Story emulator? Not that it would be easy by any means, but posted on a different thread, someone said it was written in C++ and Java, both of which have a semi-functional decompiler. I don't expect that anyone could write an emulator, but just tossing the idea out there.

something like a prog that simulates teh real maplestory game, probably makes private servers possible..

you have never heard of roms and emulators? wow... and emulator would be like a N64, and the roms would be all the games.

o i get it... but wats the point? an all hack server for less people? and u probaly wont be able to keep ur stuff from the private server and use on the maple server tho right?

I actually like that item. GunBound itself should implement an offline emulator to help people practice their skills. =D

when Maple will be launched commercially, there wont be anymore patch, so we can make private servers. Ill make a Maple Private Server as soon as they launch commercial.

Thats not true. Some of the asian maple stories are commercial and they still patch them.

it would be nice to have a server just to yourself, although it would take up a lot of bandwith... but ever sience maple story opened sign ups back up, there are like 20 newbs in every place that there is.

yup it would be nice but the servers run on IP adresses which are owned by Wizet and controlled by the GM. anything is possible but it just would be hard

LOL only say your gonna host private server IF YOU CAN... If you can't well dont say anything...
