Fast attack speed on Tantra

Dear all,

I found that Tantra attack speed is depend on Client side,
and the attack damage caculation is depend on server side.

Now I explain why I know about it.

First I talk about attack speed.
I found one animation bug in Tantra.
When you are killing the monster, just continuous left click the ground between
player two feet(About 0.3 sec per click, depend on your computer/network speed, becareful not move the player), you will find the attack speed is increase.
So it will take more less time to kill a monster(Reduce 1/2~1/3 time).
The another way is press "F"(Pick up item) and "R"(Attack) when you kill mob.
F->R->F->R ->........
NOTICE, The above bug is only effect on Fighter or warrior(Close combat).
But the most important thing is
"The attack speed is design on Client side and it's depend on animation time
and attack command(network package of command)"

Second, about the attack damage.
When the network lag, you will found that is no damage number that show on
the screen when you are during the battle.But you really perform the attack animation finish.
And it's more reasonable that the damage is depend on server side.

Maybe many people already know this information,
but I really want to share with you.
Because maybe it's easy for you to hack the attack speed.
I really don't have enough skill to hack it.

It was possible to burst spam attack packets out (if you knew how) just like the old MU way.
I wish I had a screen shot of me doing it, but now after the patch from last week you can't do it (at least not the way I was doing)...

Fairlight, thank you for attention on my post.
But someone say that you are a GM in Tantra.
Is it right?
If you are not GM, could you show me how to do that?
Do you use some speed up program?
I can't perform so many attack at the same time by manual click

he not give it to you slowlily because he is the antihacker GM of tantra, nofeaR release that hack before but it was patched already...that was nice hack.... :rambo:

I think they only add some delay time of attack cycle on the Tantra server.
If the server see the attack package send too fast, then it may block the package.
The delay time will not more than Client side animation speed(If the package is send after animation finish).
Because if they add too much, player will attack monster fail(attack Package send too fast). If they add nothing, then the bug will appear again like Fairlight shows.

So , now it may impossible attack fast as Fairlight shows, but we can
do our best to add attack speed(Maybe reduce the animation time) that match server side.

It still can reduce some attack time, is it right?

If you can't even find the main window, you couldn't even hack it using t-search if you found it.

It was one I built.

But it dosn't work anymore, at least not like that anymore, fixed in a server patch last week.
If you try it now the server will DC you.

You can do a lot with things like tsearch, but this one took programming.

Like all MORPG, even after all the exploits are fixed. A good bot is still great.

IF YOU BUILT IT THEN YOU CAN MODIFY IT....MAYBE IT NEEDS SOME MODIFICATION...DO YOU KNOW THE MAIN WINDOW OF THE GAME? :bunny:

Should we take our attention on following two issue

1. What's the attack network package format?(Use WPE to "guess" ...:p)
2. How to reduce animation time?(Use t-search)

Do you have any experience on it?

You can try hack on Korea server.
Although I don't understand Korea language,
But I am playing on it now, it's free

I think it's ht_luncher.exe
Because I have find money's data location in it, but of course modify it won't work.
Money is server side, not client side.

I found the address of money, hp, prana but i cant found level address. noFear and friend's (maybe) make animation more fast, but it can more fast when i use speed hack program like aspeeder or cheatengine, any idea?

It's server side and don't try to modify it.

Correction. Hes an antihacker and hacker. He has another account and still hacking in tantra. Hes GM account use it to loot nice weapons and armors and send to another account. Fairlight is making a great hack now in tantra but I dont I think he'll share it to the public. He use it for personal use only and friends. I hope I'm one of his friend.

It can be tweaked to attack pretty fast, but not like before.
There was like ZERO server checks on it.
