Its going to be released 4/4/05

anyone going to get it? It looks pretty good, it has the Grabber Gun, which by the way ISNT a rip off of HL2's Gravity Gun, because they were both used at first as tools, id showed their grabbergun at E3 2002, as did VALVe.

ROE is availble to download now, from the usual places *cough*


i have not got it yet..

but as far as i am concerned, hl2 was releaced first and doom 3 is stealing gordons favourite new toy..

still sounds fun though.

what do u we get next? halo 2 grabber gun...



EDIT: hey half life 2 got into my hands before this did! i am not saying this is a bad game. Just in my opinon its a bit of a stealer..

So what if it's a rip off? If it's a cool game feature, then why not implement it!?
The Sims is a rip-off off all the other Tycoon games, does it suck because of that? (Yes it does, but hey, for the sake of discussion)
Better example:
HL2DM is a rip-off from Quake & UT. Does it suck because of that? No.

technically it isnt a rip off, because doom3 showed its grabber gun in E3 2002, to show off the d3 engine's physics...same time as valve showed their gravity gun. VALVe and idSoftware were thinking along the same lines...

And my post was more in the way of: 'Even if it is a rip-off, it's still good'.

Linux is a rip-off from Windows! Why? You can boot in both of them and Windows was there first, so Linux sucks. Watertight argument, is it not?

it costs $34.99 in the USA.

this game is sweet, i cant stop playing it :D

Don't you play as a different marine, that just completely ruins it right there?
