Berkeley beat MIT in technological excellence.

I am going to stay in CA most likely for when college comes a knockin'. Cal Poly or something.

I believe MIT beats Berkeley. Eh I'd choose Berkeley over MIT since its in California and I'd rather go to a school near home. UC Davis would be my second choice =D I'm aiming to get into there.

Stanford and Caltech are also one of the best.

Anyone in CalTech is a fricking genius. Their average SAT score (before the new one) is around 1500.. That's amazing.

On another note, I understand that MIT has the highest suicide rate of all colleges in the country. Yes, even more than other IVY leagues

that's like one of those TV colleges isn't it O.O

those are pointless IMHO.... they just try to make money off of you but the papers you get from them don't help you any finding a job.

You still get degrees, just their worth might be skewed.

UC Berkeley is the best IT/Programming school on the planet. There can be no argument, it simply is.

Berkeley is good yeah, but if you dont want to spend much money, go to Moraine Valley Community College, yeah its a junior college but it will help you get started, plus they got alot of good IT/Tech/Networking classes, along with programming, and theres a class that teaches "White" hacking

I think it is dumb to point out any community college, All of them do thier job, and well or they wouldn't still be a school. I have about 4 community colleges within driving distance in San Diego, all of which I am sure are very good in IT etc Classes as Computer Science Related jobs are all the more prevalent.
