Day Of Defeat:Source [Archive]

I put this here because its related to the Steam games and you probably all saw it in the game list in "Play games".

I saw the Browse games option and it said that Day Of Defeat : Source is a part of the Half-Life 2 Silver & Gold packs(I have Silver) just like CSS.But when I left-clicked the game wich isn't out yet it has a Pre-order option .You have to buy it even when it is suspose to be yours?

I posted it in here because the only other places I would think to put it is the Half-Life 2 forum and General and I thought it would be best put in here since this is the only forum I look at.

As soon as its realease it will be availabe to download under your games tab in Steam.

If I'm correct, you don't have to buy it when you have HL2 Silver or HL2 Gold. With Bronze, you'll still have to buy it. Maybe you don't even have it when you have silver, but I'm not sure. At least you can't play the beta as with a silver license.

Btw, there's a DoD:S forum here. ;)

I just saw,but its not "DoD : Source".Plus it looks sorta abandon,I dont know those people,Id rather talk to people on this forum.

This is the DoD:Source forum. It's a subsection of the HL2 forum.

And from what I've heard: if you have a gold version, you can play the beta of DoD:S. Just like you could play the CS:S beta. :)

but do u see many people playing HL2:DM?
i think many people are used to CS:S, wont be so easy to change over to DoD:S
