floating drone?

hwo des that work. ive seen a few people do it recently, anyone know how?

Yea, most people do it in that ums map. But it works in melee and is usefull for island matches :D. You have to know how to waypoint. A waypoint is what your selected unit is 'scheduled' to go to after doing its original command. To way point you hold shift and right click a destination. The float a drone thing is a glitch involving waypoint and extractor. It works best at beginning of match where you only have 50 minerals. DONT GATHER. Now, tell one of your drones to go build an extractor, then b4 it gets there, quickly 'waypoint' by shift-clicking the top of the minimap, then really quickly choose ur larva to make a drone. Now, this is what happens. Your drone goes to build the extractor, but you build the drone b4 it got there and therefore it didnt have enuff money to build the extractor, and it therefore glitches and goes to the waypoint as though it were going through things. So it goes over water, through walls...you name it. Get it? Was i over specific? If so sorry.
(i hope by posting this i dont see like 1000 ppl doing this next time i get on bnet :P)
