I honestly dont know why it wouldnt work with x64. Maybe its because your using the beta winxp for x64 seeing as the retail version of x64 ships tomarrow(monday) and only the preview version of a beta was availible.

You need a 64-bit processor (like Athlon 64) to run it. And You would need to format you HDD.

With X64 i read that you could theoretically support hundreds of megs of RAM.

yea
As compared with existing 32-bit versions: 64-bit Windows will handle 16 terabytes of virtual memory, as compared to 4 GB for 32-bit Windows. System cache size jumps from 1 GB to 1 TB, and paging-file size increases from 16 TB to 512 TB.
I mean granted normal people with normal PCs will not even hit the old 32 bit limits but yes with 64 bit windows, the limits are way higher.
Microsoft officially launched the 64-bit client version of Windows XP professional today at WinHEC and announced that it will offer users of 64-bit processors and the 32-bit XP Pro a free upgrade to the new operating system. Chairman Bill Gates will open the conference today and provide updates on the next-gen Windows Longhorn. So now they are also providing upgrades for the people that have legit copys of winxp pro 32 bit. You can read more info about it here: http://www.tomshardware.com/hardnews/20050425_090000.html
Drivers out there are not yet mature enough for 64-bit in the mainstream," Marr said. So, if you are running a range of peripherals on your PC and depend on them, you may want to think twice, if you switch right away. According to Microsoft, the new XP does not support 32-bit device drivers and will not run any 16-bit applications that may be left on your desk from the ages of Windows 3.1. Other advantages include up to 16 TByte memory addressability and support for up to 128 GByte physical memory
I am thinking with the changes they did to winxp 64 to handle memory, the api used for injecting was changed up a bit. Namely VirtualAllocEx. Wait a min I just checked out my injector code and I know exactly why the current injectors wont work. They all use kernel32 Lib for the api. I am willing to bet ya in win64, the Lib is kernel64. Shouldnt be too hard for someone to fix if they have win64. Just download the source to one of the injectors, the GD one source is on the mpcdownloads site and was linked not to long ago. Just load it up, change the kernel32 to kernel64 and I bet it will work.

ARSONIST, no as that is a 32bit processor only. ONLY the following processors are 64bit:
Intel Itanium 2 processor
Intel Xeon processor with Intel EM64T Extension
AMD Athlon 64
AMD AthlonFX
AMD Opteron processor with 64bit Extension
AMD Turion 64

Well I been building computers for 11 years and been a microsoft beta tester for 8 years. So I just happen to know this info. Most of the info I post is just info I already know or know right where the info is. But thanks.
Edit: Well I picked up WinXP Pro x64 yesterday. I got it installed for dual boot. Sometime during the week I will see what I can do to get the GD loader to work on it.

Erm, for technical disccusions as deep as these I think the tech forums is better suited.
So lets get back on-topic, meaning if there are any hacks that work on 64bit. (Don't think so btw)

Spont- your starting to overwhelm them, nicely done. but yes it should be easy to make the injectors work with x64, and as the demand grows with the new windows new programs will be provided. The real funny thing is that for 99.9% of the people here it is just a novelty, because they won't be running anything that requires 64bit processing and thus with the chipp architectures won't see much of a boost in proformance if any at all.
sorry diddle I know that was off topic, but for those that have low end athlon64 don't think that you would get a huge bump in fps just by updating to x64, and if you have a 939 you souldn't have issues with this game anyway.
as for hacks if you want to run x64 follow spont's example and make it a dual boot system, to test things first before diving in head first.
damn now I kind of want to dump my intel system, but I think I have too much invested in it.
but I am still drooling to play with x64
