look at this banner that i made..

i made this for one Russian web site i often visit. an admin liked it and told me that soon they will update their chat with new, fresh look, and they will probably use my pic (he asked for permision and i agreed) . basacly what i am asking for is an advise. do you think i should chage something to get a better look? any sugestions? hints? anything.. and yeah, i got 2 virsions, one is filled with a horisontal patern and the other one is not. tell me which one do you like more?

I know why he put the lines through, it's the new designer style for websites and posters... It actually suits it... but... You need to make the opacity of them smaller so it doesn't stick out so much... otherwise the one without lines is better.

i agree with the opacity. but then again sometimes when you fade opacity it makes somethings look like garbage but im sure it will work fine in this scenario.

yeah i know what you are talking about, i didn't try do do it yeat because i am busy with a sig for my friend, but when ever i will do it and what ever it will be like i will post it here, so ppl could see what i got
