Funny... a bunch of cheat sites I went to, quote Articles from the European Treaty of Human Rights of 1953, but yet that Treaty has specific clauses that stress the fact that OFFICIAL CAPACITIES have to be the offending party in order for these articles to come into effect.

So, the funny part therein is, that sites quote:
--------------------------------------------
I, under penalties of perjury solemnly declare and affirm the following:

1. I am not visiting this site to steal material (including Information, Snapshots and Source-Codes) to use against the Webmaster, Site Operator or Host or any person in any conceivable manner.

2. I will not modify any material for personal use, unless I have permission by the creator or copyright holder.

3. I am not affiliated with any anti-cheating organizations or PunkBuster/CSHP/UTPure/CheatingDeath/CS-Guard/Paladin/CAC/CSBlacklist; or I am seeking out evidence which may serve as a medium for any charge of violating federal, state or local laws.

4. If you are from VAC/PunkBuster/CS-Guard/CheatingDeath/Paladin/CSHP/UTPure/CAC/CSBlacklist or any other anti-cheating organization, or something similar, and you enter this site. You are in violation of art Of the European Treaty of Human Rights, from 03-09-1953.

5. Everything that is downloaded is for educational purposes only.

6. If fixes are created by VAC/PunkBuster/CSGuard/CheatingDeath/CSHP/UTPure/Paladin, Tony Ray and his affiliates or other anti-cheating organization will be held responsible for violating art.

7. Of the European Treaty of Human Rights by denying us the rights of our civil liberties.

8. I will not download anything that is copyrighted here for any purpose other than viewing this content. I will not modify, redistribute, copy, or transfer anything copyrighted here.

9. By entering SOMESITE you declare the above. The contract will have the same rights as a legal agreement, a legal act. By abusing the contract you are suspect of a criminal charge (forgery).
-----------------------------------------------
YET... they clearly haven't even bothered to look up the proper article number... neither are they familiar with those articles. Notice #6... what the hell is an art? Sentences are started mid sentence as if they had no clue what they were writing/editing. For heavens sake... #9 - you don't even know wtf the proper charge is.

Funny... If you're going to use an official document, to represent your site, do it the proper way, use the proper articles, state the proper paragraphs, etc etc...

Here's the complete European Convention of Human Rights:

http://www.hri.org/docs/ECHR50.html#C.Art8

Currently you have NO legal right to stop VAC/PunkBuster/CS-Guard/CheatingDeath/Paladin/CSHP/UTPure/CAC/CSBlacklist or any other anti-cheating organization from putting out prevention software or any other materials to stop the cheats you so "claim" are EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS .

Noch was... dass diese Site Deutsch ist... echt schade... Ich dachte mir dass wir Deutsche schlauer als Amis und Tuerken sind.

Nothing, just the fact that I think cheats are for morons... and that the site's webmaster seems to think that anti-cheat sites/programs can't do anything because of this treaty.

The treaty has absolutely nothing to do with copyright laws or who can/can't visit a site for any purpose.

My point basically is, that before they make themselves look stupid by quoting the EToHR1953, they should get their shit together. That Terms of Agreement page is full of $h1t. And anyone that wishes to come up with ANTI-cheats is fully allowed and capable to do so. The fact that he calls these cheats EDUCATIONAL is the real funny part.

If the gaming industry had the urge to, or wanted to pursue legal action against any cheat/cheat site, they are fully within their rights. They just don't do it because it's not cost effective. Because any gamer that gets pissed off because someone uses a cheat, could possibly quit playing that game and shy away from further games of that nature... hence hurting sales, because that player may pass the word to avoid playing that game because it's loaded with cheaters.

So... my point being... don't make this site sound like it's legally protected by the EToHR1953. Because it's not. It has no legal protection other than a copyright infringement or legal action vs hackers/crackers/phreakers.

Perhaps I should inform you that you have no right to be here, as this site is the property of an admin named Dark, and you have quoted the statement in his join agreement that says that anti-cheaters are unwelcome. Also, to respond to the quote above, you are correct in saying that we have no ability to stop anti-cheaters from making counter methods to stop cheats, as we have never claimed to, we simply stated that anti-cheaters are not to use our cheats informative materials to hinder our progress. You see, for if they have these cheats then they must have gotten them from an anti-cheater who was indeed in here. This constitutes a third degree offense. Please read that we said nothing even remotely related to this in our agreement, we simply specified that anti-cheaters are not legally allowed to be here. In America we call it trespassing. Also, no anti-cheating site has any grounds for legal threats against MPC, for what we do is perfectly legal in the country where the MPC server is based. To continue, I assure you this case would never make it to court because there is no way one could call cheating illegal. Perhaps some methods of achieving this process are illegal, but this is why we state that the materials provided here are for 'educational purposes only.' If you use them for other reasons, then that is of your own free will, however it is discouraged legally, and morally.

You will now be banned from this site as you are not allowed to be here according to the laws you claim us to have abused and misquoted.

Have a wonderful day,
MPC Staff
