Works like a charm cypr3ss no recoil owns :) and the other features also work. Good job iced.

Edit: after playing for about 5 mins i got kicked from one server i joined diff one was on that one not a kick yet.

Yeah ice, the release works like a charm man. Even though the weapon snatches down when you try to shoot above eye level, the target still gets hit when you pull the trigger. I dropped quite a few guys that were camping in windows last night. The zoom feature is instant now.

again...ihavent looked at these particular files but jesus....credits should go to the original maker of the hacked beta ini's....if credits should be their own then they 'd have fixed the problem with the gun pulling down when you fire....i fire all day in wherever i want ...yes that includes firing to the second or third story from ground level without having to worry about jerking to the center view of screen.....again as i told preston...its one line of coding....if you want the one line ...by all means just ask..

First off, i would just like to say i hacked these on my own, and i didnt even play the beta of the game, yes, grats to the people who did it first, but i had no help in doing this. second, what is the line that makes it so you can shoot high :paranoid:

please change this line in every weapon to this.....oh and i found this out by looking at the pepperball gun which even on the original files ...has no recoil...

change

RecoilForeDuration=0.0

or whatever you have for it to

RecoilForeDuration=0.035

and there ya go....credits should go to whoever did the first hacked ini's...i take no credit except for that line....i did find that out on my own...

woot thanks for this, i was playing with it last nite, works great, however i notice that the reload animation is lost with this ini loaded, not that it matters much but unless your looking at the bullet count you will never know that you reloaded.

Its a mess up, I recommend you use the compiled inis, that has a kick ass no recoil.

flip what compiled .ini? i must be missing where that thread/d/l is. and i have not seen an updated version of the .ini because im using the ini's that janfun made but flashbangs still hurt me. wondering when something will come out to fix this? sorry if some of this is off topic. GRRR..this is getting annoying. i can't play in servers with the one Preston tried to fix..says SWATEQUIPMENT.ini doesnt match the one on the server. So I used this one that was in this thread...it works great..but I can't shoot above eye-level...someone know what's up?

umm first of all u need to make a back up of the original ini file.. soo u put in the Mod ini while starting up swat4. once u get to main menu, minamize ur screen and put the original ini file back in the system folder.

Ok, here's my situation.
I have iced's ini setup and Preston's so called fix for iced's bug (where you can't shoot above eye level)
Using iced's inis
I put the original in the System folder
Boot up Swat4, minimize, put in the modified .inis
Join a server and everything works butI can't shoot above eye level, this is a big issue.
So i saw Preston's so called fix
i dloaded it and did the same thing i did with iced's
but when I join a server i get the Swatequipment.ini mismatch

Your doing it wrong.

here are the steps

1) Put your modified ini in your system folder.
2) Start up Swat4.
3)Once at main menu, minamize ur screen and put the original (none hacked) ini in your system folder.

yea there is go in to the SwatEquipment.ini add that gun to [Pocket_PrimaryWeapon]
see it has all guns in there now
like so

now if you add that gun in to there then add the ammo it uses
in the ammo pocket boom you now have it
you can do this with any gun but it you but it in
Pocket_SecondaryWeapon
then you only get 8 ammo clip
now try this out put ak-47 in Pocket_SecondaryWeapon
and the ammo for it in Pocket_SecondaryAmmo
you will see you now have ak-47 in SecondaryWeapon
add or remove any guns you want
easy to do

EDIT: one more thing guys you must make sure it says bSelectable=True
if it is set to false then you can't use it also this does have it's bugs bad but it works
and cuffing and open doors and all that is all in the ini files just play with them

ty for the hack :D works nice. Dont feel anything to flashes. But only 2 bugs spotted jet. Playing in an server, Makes the hole server lagging. pings about 300. And when you walking downstairs and an enemy is upstairs and you aim on him and shoot. the crosshair will auto center after 1 singel shot. But stil verry nice. And now i like baricated suspects with the tazer :P:shocked:
