maybe without uhide even?
so here's what i did today. i thought i'd try out to see if that md5 check on every file that was talked about in a post here somewhere was correct. so i went into utpt and found the new offsets to some stuff. first thing i tried was that always show crosshairs for sniper. i did that and it worked, then i thought maybe i should try this on a server. so i went into an empty pb official, guess what no kick for file mismatch. i was like, woohoo. then i thought, all the people i see getting kicked for aaom was for agp.u mismatch. so i go and bytehack something in agp.u, something simple, like the no recoil. alright, i did and it worked on sp, then i went back to the same official server, then again no kick! usually when you join a server with bytehacked .u files u get kicked immediately. these two times i didn't. did i just get away when others trying the same thing get kicked or do i need to do more than the crosshairs and recoil for it to make a difference for pb to notice? idk.
some input please. if this is true that we can again bytehack without getting kicked for mismatch error then maybe someone can rework aaom if the source is out there somewhere, or publish a list of what headings to look under in utpt for the offsets so each one of us can manually bytehack .u files with a hex editor.

1.) Did the edit for always show sniper crosshair actually work cause it might of just been AA 2.4's new feature
2.) Sometimes making small changes doesn't change the md5 checksum of the file

1. it worked. i walked around in sp with every weapon before i bytehacked it and i saw no crosshair when i was sniper.
2. that's what i'm wondering too, if i need to make anymore changes, but i'm only capable of the simple stuff such as changing just 1 offsets, 2-3 at most if they are located almost next to each other, anything more than that i tend to get lost.

it could be that PB isnt checking the hashes yet due to new release.it may take a couple days b4 updates start as well.

but great efforts.
