I know ill get flamed for this, but ... i need to know before i get banned.. again.

eh im sure it is, i dont remember d3d8 ever being protected.. now that i think about it, less someone wants to prove me wrong?
I was pretty sure PB checks for this.
bah, some D3D hooks still work, any way to convert this to a injectible .dll?

actually, right now, i don't know of any d3d hooks that do work for rvs.... pb is doing a good job on that front... your best bet is to use a .u bot... pb can't stop those.. find out how to get it pb proof and you're set

hi to know if this hack can be used with punkbuster
do to create server (not a dedicated server) and install the latest version of punkbuster and play on the server if you have no messages of PB (warnning......)
it's good :)

PB overlooks you if its your server........
I dont know how many times I have ran a server with rr6game.u and had no violations

yes server host don't kiked
but if it say "warning"
on another server you will be kiked ,it's simple with punkbuster if you have a bad name he kick you ,and if you hack ........
If it say warnning ,you will be sure on another server you will be kicked

Right but CVAR checks are pretrty comprehensive, like in X's hack.. there's not much of a way of getting around it.
I cant seem to "find out a way to get it pb proof" any suggestions?

try harder?
it's not like the methods are just handed to the public or anybody that asks. if that were done then more cvars would be made and nothing would of come of the great task that others have either tried so hard to figure out. think a lil bit about how we avoided cvars before, maybe that will bring on some intuition.

I use all kinds of hacks when i host a server - PB always overlooks me - i never get a warning

right, we can avoid cvar checks by finding a new way to hook the code into a different location than where the Cvar checks. The problem is that i cannot find and dont understand how to properly hook into a different location. I cant find any posts or good info on how to do this.... Can anyone point me in the right dirrection to figure out how to create or use a different hook?

like drew said, look harder, or maybe look closer, i heave more a less experience in rvs but this has nothing to do in finding a way to get around pb
just take a look at the lines which check the cvars
i just found a way around whitelist, whitch xelalex or one of his "friends" found too
but then i found also a way around cvars, which is really simple, and maybe drew, and so on, are also using it too ( i just told it to 2 other peps)
sorry for my bad english, but as an belgium, in the origin land of the beer, its not easy to post :S*

visual c++ 6 ( c++ compiler, .net beta is free this isn't)
hex workshop (google it)
pe explorer (again google it, not free tho)
and then i found a function i wanted and just had fun with it. it was in asm but it wasn't hard to understand. and after a while i figured out a better way of making a retlock, which wasn't released. i have the source for my retlock released somewhere.

I could be completly wrong but wasent the d3d8 code used in AA hooked successfully without detection?
Any particular reason why RVS wouldent allow it?
