First off, 1.03 isn't out yet.........1.02a is the latest patch and it's doubtful that 1.03 is coming anytime soon.

So, you've added a feature in your "hack" that automatically checks the WC3 code to see if offsets have moved and then adjusts accordingly? Wow, that must be some pretty powerful AI engine you've got running under the hood there.............how big is this hack? 100MB?

I think that this guy is just trying to be funny. If any admins can post back saying that they've actually used his hack then I might believe it's actually real, but until then, I'm gonna go work on a new map/disc hack. And when I'm done I will ACTUALLY release it

u cant play ladderd games for 2 weeks and if they'll catch u again they prolly ban u 4 life......thats why im not sure if i have 2 use cheats ....dont get me wrong I LOVE CHEATS i sux without cheats....but the risk......

No one can say for sure what the chances of being caught again are..............I'm still very skeptical. A LOT of innocent people were banned, and I've only played Custom games since 1.02 So I doubt anyone turned in a replay of me.
I would say that you should just be careful for now. I'm sticking to purely custom games for a couple weeks until we can figure out what the hell blizz is doing. Sorry Britney, I can't give you any more info than that. I'm just releasing the hacks for those who want to use them, I'm NOT saying that you won't get caught. We just don't know yet

Just wondering... When the game crashes, it puts down a log into a folder called "Errors" Maybe WC3 sends those logs to B.net? I think that is the way...cuz i have only played "Custom Game" Tower Defence and Hero Arena with maphack :p So i can only see that the log is the way they catch you... That's my conclusion :p

It's possible that they send the logfiles, but again, this is where they would run into legal trouble.
They have to ask your permission to send information like that........especially files right off your hard drive.
If they are sending files off your HD without your permission then they could potentially send credit card info, bank accounts, etc.

Well the logs could be stored into b.net since the game only crashes when your on b.net and using maphack...
