About OpenKore and Pearl

hello again.. i'm not a noob at botting but this is the very first time i'm gonna use open kore.. i have just dled perl 5.8.0 and PDK-Pro 6.0.1 and installed them on my pc.. i have read that to run multiple bots in open kore without using alot of memory is by using the start.pl, is this correct? coz when i clicked it an error showed saying "XSTools.dll is not found"

no, you don't need Perl to run Openkore, just the OpenKore package will do . . .

maybe your openkore folder is not complete.. make sure you have dled it all.. and btw I dont think you need pearl to run openkore.. they use pearl to edit the program itself ;P

so you are using the CVS version right?
you can download the latest xstools in the openkore website.

i can run openkore using the wxstart.exe but as i have read in previous topics about openkore.. you can only run a few bots bcoz wxstart eats up alot of memory so they suggest using the start.exe inluded in the file but the only start file in there is the start.pl which says that it should be compiled by perl that is why i dled the perl prog..

any other suggestions?

apparently there is no start.exe included in the openkore-wx-1.6.1 that i have dled from scourforge :( thats why i'm asking for help.. do i need to recompile the start.pl or there is a site where i can dl the start.exe that works with openkore 1.6.1 coz when i use the start.exe from openkore-win32-1.5.2-beta it says "Your XSTools Library is incompatible.

I think you should dl openkore-1.6.1-win32, this one has start.exe.. you can also dl this at sourceforge

ok.. now i have a working openkore :) but i still have a few questions though..

1. if someone ks me, coz i have a bot in gh, will open kore drop it or will it still continue to kill the monster.. in modkore its notAttackDistance 0 to avoid dropping target.. can someone tell me the command so my bot won't drop its target.

2. Can i edit the delay of heal skill when killing monsters? coz i see a delay like Dmg: 2100 <Delay 53.1>

well that is for now, i did not create a new thread to ask these questions so as not to spam the thread..

no it doesn't drop the target, you're the one being KSed so it does not count as you KSing

you can edit the timeouts for skills, but if you really want to tweak your timeouts.txt, make sure you have an idea of what you're doing unless you want your bot FUBAR!

I dont think its possible to edit the delay of the heal. Regarding dropping the target, you cannot enable ks in openkore coz openkore doesn't support ks

1. if u were the one who 1st attack the monster, ur bot will continue to attack until it dies and it will take the loots that the monster drops..
2. i'm not sure but i think u can't edit the delay..
