well this is old news this has been release a while back already and even earlier to Microsoft Premium users.

BTW this is a service pack just like those NT service packs etc. it basically includes alot of small updates and fixes and well.... that's basically it.

there are many banned cd-keys in SP1... and I know the algorithm of it :) I ahve an insider in Windows Office in US

no talk of warez please, if your cd key is banned then you need to visit miscrosoft's site in order to desput it since it's legal or visit one of the lager miscrosoft "help" board to get info on what you should do. other then that MPC does NOT allow anything to do with warez, cracks or anything else which might be illegal in any way.

Service one for me is seriously buggy, i can't even get style xp to work and i had a cool setup with that, (me get's excited bout litestep again :bunny:) i crashes more frequently But i think its cause its never off Due to the mass amounts of downloading / uploading i do now but without it i crashed only when switching users, now it does it when it feels like it. But enough of my whinging anyone else find its elevated there problems

BTW to get style xp to work you gotta download the latest stylexp patch cause sp1 disabled the old style xp that worked before.

Yeah did that but i couldn't get it to work, and now i miss my cool windows, thanks anyway :D, BTW i feel it compulsary to end each post with the dancnin bunny :bunny:

you sure you have stylexp 1.01L cause that's what I have and it causes no problems for me at all

I had problems with Style XP, on my system it caused VERY slow startups, i had to wait 1 minute after i saw my desktop till i could use any program, it was really annoying...

hmm wierd I can't understand this I had a problem with stylexp when it was in v0.8 but now I have no problem at all it gives me even faster startups then with xp's default interface and it never causes my PC to crash..... maybe it's just luck ;) :p
