I have never tried Half-life or CS....

Should i buy it?

if so what should i buy?

Half-life or CS..i thought CS was a MOD if not please tell me.

I wasnt thinking of buying it because of all the stories i have heard that almost everyone on every server cheats :cry:

I`d buy Half-life. As its 1 game, but u can download counter-strike as a MOD. Or u can buy CS and not d/l CS. But u won`t have HL or its mods. DoD ect will be useless, so just buy HL, as its like 20 $, BTW a HL key works for CS retail , as vice versa.

Buy it for sure. As for rumors about everyone cheating, that is not really true, many many servers still have no cheaters.

but is quite old now rite.....its been yrs since hl was released.....literally years....

i could still remember chugging along HL in awe of the smooth textures on my P2-400 mhz with my new $300 voodoo2 ;)

CS retail is the exact same thing as HL, but u dont need to d/l CS, and yes u can DL any other HL mod, and play them on ur cs retail

when i last got halflife i got the platinum thing with cs retail and hl retail....seems a waste to sell them together :)

Download CS Mod version, it is better and has more support, along with it is 30 dollars (US) cheaper...

Buy Half-Life, Multiplayer is all I play now, it is a one of a kind experience. The community is DEFINETLY there, and cheating only goes on in some servers, mostly Hackers Only.

regular half-life really still is a great game... you'd think that the graphics would get out-dated by now but still its a great looking game sure there are better but half-life has really stood the test of time
