I want to be able to lag out at will - run behind someone - then lag 'in?' and shoot them - i think its called netspeed binding (or at least thats what they call it in the ATC servesr)

How can I do this?

that would be very weird.

It doesn't work that way.

Hmm - how does it work?

I see people doing it - if they are in a tight situation they "get lucky" and lag out and end up behind someone....

Due to the random nature of network latency and the greatness at which it can vary at any two specific points in time it would be largely impossible to harness it's effects as a hack or exploit designed to give an advantage to the user.

However, IIRC it is possible to lag yourself to such a degree that it lags all other players in the game as well. You can use lag spikes to cause other players to slow down but you would slow down in almost the exact same way and time. This may be what is being done, especially if the people doing this have designed and coded their own Bot designed to actually playn the game in there place during the lag exploit. This would make sure the proper data gets sent during the slowdown and the other player waits until they unfreeze, getting caught from behind by the exploiter.

you can bind netspeed to mousewheel, fun stuff :) but mostly people will accuse you of using god because it will seem like they will shoot you many times. However most servers check to make sure your speed is between 2000-20000. So if its out of that range when it scans you'll get the boot.

This is dangerous though, if you get caught in a flux spike of lag before you can get the kill you're ****ed.

This is exactly how it works.
