I think i found the bug in .45. In SwatAmmo.u there is a property calls Mass and the hollowpoint (JHP) is 1.000000 which is the largest number and the FMJ is only 0.030000, this can easily be fixed with a patch :laugh: but I hope they don't lol....

Very itresting man nice find. I was wondering would soemthing like this be server side controlled or clientside? If it was server side just think about what u could do. 9mm FMJ has the same power as a .45 smg JHp round :P

I think you got this all wrong, because its server side makes it completely useless when you edit the SwatAmmo.u, which I did and it was completely useless and a waste of time.

I hope they fix the bug :P. I am a 9mm Smg fan and I hate being killed by that .45 lol.

i think Swatammo.u is be severside

i find two value is 17(32bit) in this file (9mm handgun ammo is 17)
and i edit it to 231
when i join game , 9mm handgun ammo is 17/231
and i can't find other 17 in this file
so i think its severside

i jsut got a test , 231ammo is work in SP
in MP still is 17/231

Dont you know about the .45 smg JHP round shoots trough doors? thats why on almost every server the .45 smg isnt allowed

.45 JHP isn't the only bullet that can shoot through doors, I don't know if the GB36 can shoot through doors, but mine can....cheers.... :laugh:
