Then why did I get disconnected? Speedhack doesnt even work, and the memory editing is useless because you get disconnected? I edited the ammo and got disconnected, edited exp and got disconnected edited hp and got disconnected.. I can only stay in game fir about 5 sec then I get disonnected after editing anything.. With speedhack I get disconnected after like 10 ~ 20 sec.. Explain that please?

Cheat engine doesnt work either,, I edited the ammo to 999 and the game closed down. DOESNT WORK I TELL YOU! IT DOESNT WORK! Tell me what Im doing wrong:

1.)I start gunz.exe (Not the launcher)
2.)Join a game
3.)Alt+Tab out to windows
4.)I open Cheat engine 5.0
5.)Edit the ammo
6.)Game shuts down.. and I get annoyed..

the client cheat protection has been removed... I can't remove the protection they have in the server you know...
also, it's best to use dxwnd (set to directx9, and to prevent from fullscreen or something like that) to make it windowed, I could have included an option to window it in my exe but I'm not very familiar with direct3d and there are other programs that do it

and krillam u cen feeze adreses, u dont have to make it 999 coz max ammo capacity 32 and u make it 999 so program catches it :) if u freeze it u just shoot on client side but u dont do dmg to others i thing, the only thing u could make is ping hack or sumping coz it seems u send packet with information u have receaved packet so thats why u cant kill pingers

yes, the original exe looked for a window name of "tsearch" (and a few other programs, speederxp, artmoney...) and closed down if found
also it had a call to isdebuggerpresent, and closed down if a debugger was running

kriliam dont set anything to 999 lol, freeze only or at least dont exceed full capacity =) ur changing to 999 ammo and it blows ur magazine in your gun :D

I dunno why ppls are so mad about that exe :), i just unpacked mrs, bought all items for free and using them on lvl 1 (even rocket launchers and heavy machine guns) But the best thing is to be running around with godmode, event armors and shooting everyone with rocket launcher on lvl 1 =)

So the hacked exe lets you bypass the file integrity check? I edited zitem.xml in system.mrs to make a bunch of the items free and the level requirements low, repacked it, (backing up my originals, of course), and tried playing with the hacked exe, but I couldn't connect to either server. Peak hours... :p

There is no intergrity check, only simple crc check thats not active , just check mlog.txt u will see there, i even bypassed that crc check and it isnt even out yet :bunny:

mrs editing is patched..... but i bypassed it =P, tho some functions become serversided like dmg, lvl req and shop prices but i can still change my weapons delay to slash/shot uber fast and change my hp and ap to about 1000. If someone will tell me line responsible for xp and bounty for kill then i will post my bypass method here.

I see, a newbie with CH, eh? Well, first off you need something to search for, take the ammo as an expample.

1.)Start CH and serach for your current ammo
2.)It should find about a gazillion values
3.)Shoot a couple of shots and then type the current ammo you have in the search box and click "Search next!" and not "Search"

you should add all 4 and freeze it when you have the ammo reloaded to max possible... like revolver at 4 reload to 6 then freeze it and it should work fine.

if however you decide to input 6 for the values when ingame shows it as 4, the game will boot you out.

you're using the gunz.exe provided by deadbeef right and launching straight from there and not the launcher?

it shouldn't disconnect you if you don't mess with the ammo values
what i do as stated in my previous post is once i find the ammo values which seems to be 4 of them i reload my gun so it says 6/## then i freeze all 4

ohhh.. so that's why i don't get to kill much even though i hit my enemies a lot! i've basically experienced the same thing u did, 50+ hit combo but my target survives and kills me after (this happened several times) maybe it's not a good idea to hack ammo :D

You tossed 500 grenades in 5 secs? Did you kill anyone, because that would probably be client sided. It would look to you that you tossed 500 grenades (even though I cannot picture how that would look) but the other players will only see one...

Say your are using Revovler and you have 6 bullets 6/0
Search 6
Use 1 bullet
Filter 5
Use 1 bullet
Filter 4
Use 1 bullet
Filter 3
Use 1 bullet
Filter 2
Use 1 bullet
Filter 1
You should get a few values left and select them all
Change values back to 6 and freeze
You should have infinite number of 6 bullets for your revolver
Im not sure if this works but i would get this is how you do it.
If you know this is not the best method tell it so ppl can find a more efficient method

Well no iin my method I said to change the ammo back to 6 for revovler (Minic I am referring to so thus u only shoot 1 at a time neways but u get max ammo infinite) If u use smg then i guess you could do 32 instead and change back to 32 n free you would have 32 ammo I dont think u necessarily shoot 1 ammo at a time unless u only had 1 ammo

Infinite health if server sided means u cant edit it. Only client sided things u can or u need to be an expert hacker

But here's another approach instead of getting infinite health try pushing a button to regain your health from those health powerups infinite number of times

The only hacks that came out was deadbeefs n thats patched (a shame I didnt use it when i could) and no hacks have been made thus far. Ammo I have been testing out but I havent finished will try again tomorrow (as I am writing this I am going to go to sleep on a several mins) other things such as inf health has been said to work but no1 showed evidence or explained theres exp bounty but no1 got that to work so thats all i guess. An I made a autoclicker to get into gunz easier/faster on the gunz online thread so enjoy that

btw, I don't play gunz so I don't know the details, but:
- you know you can hack just by editing the mrs file
- he said there's a way to bypass
- you've got an edited exe that bypasses the isdebuggerpresent check
- the game has all debugging info, so even the most noobish cracker can figure out what each piece of code does

Nope.. can do it if you joined a game or hosted it.
Tossing 500 grenades at people isnt client sided either (FIREWORKS WOOO) - Unfotunately the game wont register that many, so although the enemy see's the grenades, they wont do as much damage as usual.

now one of the drawbacks to this is, if you edit say, a rusty dagger, changing the range, delay, and damage, will work for EVERYONE in the game.

So lets say

Rusty dagger
100 damage
5 delay
1000 range.


Although those stats won't apply to you (server sided), due to the fact they are edited on your client, the server READS yours and when the weapon is used against you it will do 100 damage a hit, hit as fast as you can click, and also be able to hit you from across the map.

Basically, this thread has come to a few people knowing how to hack, and discussing it among themselves while telling the other people to figure it out by themselves, giving no hints no nothing. Just a few programs, and then not even saying which ones your using, what your doing with them, which programs do what, etc.3



There are four files -

Hacked Executable - required to use hacks.
Cheat Engine - which is still being thrown around, don't know if it works or not.
T-Search - Which still comes up as an example for hacking, but no one epxlinas.
*.mrs File - Which I still have no idea where it is, how to find it, what exactly it does, etc. What I do know, is that you can open it with WinRAR, repair it into a zip, and open a PDB file (which i dont know how to properly open and read without getting random characters.) I know you can not patch it, but you can bypass it, which I dont know how, and even how that works, nowhere to start.

no clues on what to do with the .mrs files, no clue on how to edit the .mrs file, no clue on how to bypass the debugging of the .mrs file, etc.



This whole topic is full contriversial stuff. someone says they can do this, someone says they cant, other person agrees, then someone comes along brings along another file, each file gets mixed up with each other. no one can confirm anything, and when they do, they dont say how they did it properly, they dont say anything except.

Krilliam, try narrowing ur search results to like 1-5 u should avoid crashing then. I dunno why ppls are so mad about that exe :), i just unpacked mrs, bought all items for free and using them on lvl 1 (even rocket launchers and heavy machine guns) But the best thing is to be running around with godmode, event armors and shooting everyone with rocket launcher on lvl 1 =)

If you search for a value (First scan), take 100... and you lose som of that 100 so it makes 90. Then as a next scan search for 90. Then you will end up with 4 values

Look... First, open WinRAR. GO to your system.mrs file and right click on it.
Go to "Rename" and click on it. Change the file to..

system.rar

Rename the file, but do not open it. Now, right click on the RAR file once again and
go to "Repair Archive". Click on it.

An new RAR file should be made. Unzip that RAR file and files should come out.
Right click on them and edit to what you want.

But there is no point in doing this. This method has been patched..

I'd imagine the original can be obtained by starting the game normally with the launcher/patcher to update your files.

I think the PDB has to be decompiled somehow.

it's a free game. the korean hosters don't host for the international, and more there are more than 4x the amount of people then the servers allow, and since its international, at 1 single time, there will be people trying to access.

Hmm.. I have a question for people who tried to use the CE for infinite health.

When you guys put your health in the value bar, did you ever find your exact
health reading? I have a theory of the reason why the infinite heath cannot work.

Perhaps it is because you cannot narrow the addresses down to 1 (yours). Unless,
wrong with this thoery, I might be able to get the infinite health working. (Or attempt to)

not completely my words, but rather the words of many others. But thinking about it, I would suppose that it would be near impossible to create hacks for it. Or at least, simple hacks. manipulation of the physical server connections would be required. backdooring or such. using packets without a door would be hard to force it to accept you.

Well, I have a question. Isn't it possible to hack a server through the client?

For example, how a virus takes over a bacterium is like this...
The virus injects the genetic material into the bacterium and becomes part of the
genetic material of the bacterium. The bacterium cannot defend against the virus because
it does not recognize the virus as an enemy, but part of it.

So in translation, is it possible to equip the client with a hack so it can bypass the
server detection. Just like coffenub said, without a door, it will be hard to pass.
So if the client has a door, why not make a hack part of the client? With this, we
could pass the "door" as though part of the client.

This is just a small theory. If it is possible, I know it won't be easy.

I'm saying this if it is possible.

Isnt that like hacking the mrs files? Your hacking the client so it passes through as part of the client because it is the same file and the client is aloowed to go on to the server.

is something that can past the verification without being detected.

I am assuming that the client checks itself to see if it is original with all its ORIGINAL
information.

The thing I am thinking of is like a program that becomes part of the server as
soemthing new, but still not detected by the client even though it is part of the
information. This reason is because the hack was not ORIGNALLY part of the
client.

I see their is a filelist.xml with crc's of the files.... If you recalculate the crc of the changed xml again and place it in filelist.xml next to the approtiate file then it should be disabled..

well, if we can get all the weapons and items right now for free, then it will have been saved to our account.

even if the server changes, and we cant use them, they will still be in our account, and when we do level up legally, we can use them without buying them.

Cost-editing doesn't work because buying from the shop is an interaction between you and the server. The price displayed on your screen is merely cosmetic.

edit: go to were you installed Gunz, backup the old gunz.exe thats in there and replace it with the hacked one.

The value is the current number of somthing like HP/bounty or somthing,IE say you have 500 bounty, you would use CheatEngine and search for 500 ( the value is 500 ), then to narrow it down you go and spend some (dosent matter how much ) and then type the new value ( your bounty after spending some ) in the thing and hit search next ( i think thats the button ) and then it should find 2 or 3 matching ones...

i think thats how you do it on cheatengine, i havent realy used it much befor i always used tsearch... btw, editing your bounty is pointless though because it wont stick, im just useing it as an example to give an idea how to go about doing it.
