nbstat wtf?

i found 2 files on my pc named nbstat, i have no clue wtf it is

have u been messin about with ur ip/tcp protocals? maybe even unticked a box for register this DNS domain? or maybe even been havin a play in ipconfig?

scroll to NetBIOS to IP using WINS, LMHOSTS, HOSTS

and a google search is a good idea.

yea i have netbios disabled, and i googled for nbstat but i found nothing that explains what creates this file, anyways is it safe to delete?

if you have not installed Windows Update recently...
or installed any system programs recently...
or have never seen that thing before...
or is having problems with your computer now...
i recommend you delete that nonsense :)

If you found it in the Windows folder or program files folder, don't delete it. If it's somewhere else and you don't what it is, then delete it.
