its most likely some kinda hack...and since it aint public...that means its private...and if its private that means we aint aloud to discuss it.

Ima see if I can find out how to do this. It's most likely a color code before the name similar to how it is in the Unreal Engine.

I interpet that rule like if you have a priv hack and are telling or bragging to everybody how friggin good and cool it is, without eaven hinting at what it is or how it was done etc.

Offcourse some ppl have worked hard on stuff, and are only giving you pointers without giving away to much, there is a fine line. But on the other hand, we have seen in the past what happens if you put out all the stuff in plain site. so yea it is a fine line.

In this case i dont read this thread as discussing a priv hack, as it is only trying to figgure how something was done, like Supremspeed said. Someone saw a hack or what he thinks is hack and is just pondering on how it might have been done, he is not bragging or keeping anything away from us, etc

Like Captain said. Your not allowed to discuss how to obtain the private hack. But if a hack has something that you want, your allowes to dicuss how its done. Just cause a private hack has something thats not public but someone wants, dosent mean noone else can have that same option in the cheat. Aslong as you figure it out without hacking the private cheat itself and ripping the code from it.

if you want color names, then either try to change your config or try to log in with variations of your name at the account server, that has to work, other way you won't get in. coulb be some sort of quake3 stuff: p3n1 -> ^1p^23^3n^4i :tired:

I'm gonna state the obvious, the colour changes when you are a squad leader (green) and when you are a team commander (orange), from the regular blue friendly, red enemy. If it was in fact a hack and not just the above they used these variables to find the addy's to change to make their font a different colour.

I noticed this last night too...
It's actually orange, and not the yellowish color that the commander gets.

haven't seen this phenomemon, but probably because i have been hacking more than playing! i have been able to get my teammates to be green, red, blue etc. while hacking the game in single player mode and also to be able to get the opposing players to be blue and green, but still nothing orange.

Simple , create a new login with "|cyphe" in it.

Example : "[XXXX]|NameHere"

The [XXXX] will be blue and the NameHere will be orange.

NOTE: This works in both the demo and retail versions.

Sorry for beeing old fashioned here, but what the point of this exercise? where is the exitement of having orange text in game, the game is pretty clutterd with color as it is...especialy with tags activated....all the way ;)
