Sorry to bother you about the demo, I know its not looked highly upon, but there are these lil ****ers running around on the demo crashing servers by flooding them...at least, I think that's how they do it. They can shut down a server in a matter of seconds. It's getting so bad that we cant even play anymore without them shutting a server down. Please we need a punkbuster or a way to ban them from servers so they cant get in to flood it. Thanks.

punkbuster wouldnt do anything.
we dont like punkbuster.
admins can ban them without it.
to make pb for the demo youw ould have to remake the demo.
stop please.

No, you cannot ban on the demo, so we need a way to remake that function or add it for servers. Is there a way?

In order to crash the server or select individuals there must be one of two things present: Either they are sending data to each person which is bad data and the client cannot handle it causing the crash, or they know of a server exploit. in either case you may be able to hook Recv() and create something to filter out the bad data they may or may not be using to crash you. In short, create a simple packet filter. As for banning, unless you can kick in the demo there is no way to implement that. If admins can kick in the demo, just record the offending users IP address and create an event handler. Everytime a user joins the server the hack running on the Admin's PC checks the IP of the person and if it's on a list, send a kick command.
All this stuff would be pretty much impossible for a newb to code, so good luck. BTW, the filter would most likely be the simplest solution.

Hey, lest talk about making an AC program for a stupid demo on a cheat website!
^^
That isnt a good idea.
I think it might be best if you stop talking about it here.
