Guild to Gunz, The hacking way.

First off. Download Winrar from google. It's free! Or should be... If not get it off bearshare of limewire. Now.. Right click system.mrs and open with winrar! Its just a hacked winzip file! Here is all your files you will need.. Now right click and click REPAIR ARCHIVES and it will save it as a repaired file. Rename the non-repaired one backup. And the repaired file System. Since gunz has NO protection at all. Go nuts. Search around to get a better understanding of what does what. If you break your gunz. You got the backup and make a new repaired one.


A few things Ive learned...


---ALL MAPS---

Go into channelrules and copy all the things under mastery.(ruin,island,town, castle, Prison) And put it under all the rest so they all have all the maps. Presto.

God mod/Auto kill

This can either be done using Packets. By taking a hit. Seeing wha packets get sent.. and modifying them. Or this way.
-Open up zitem and look.. It lists what all the items do. For god mode. Simply change all the damages to 0 but one weapon that you will use.. You now have godmod to all but that weapon. Same goes for auto kill.. Switch the dmg of the weapon to use to like 800 and it will autokill. WARNING- This needs a bypass.

-ASWELL- Edit the damage you take to zero and the outgoing damage to around 1000

UNTESTED--Infinate weight --Most likely server sided. Will need bypass

Edit the weight of items to 0in zitems. Simple as that.

QUEST MODE- They changed all the stuff since they update.. working on it. -.-;;

EDIT: I added my system file. Just take the files from the system file I uploaded here and move them into the real system file..I would just upload the system.mrs but Its not supported. It contains full ap/hp healing (using hp/ap pickups as kits that you buy heal you to full) Ammo pickups give you full ammo.. But it seems to be server sided. I think it has all levels at any level (Castle, Ruin, Dungeon)

EDIT 1- The orignal one(broken) rename backup.. incase things like your edit 5 happens and you dont want to re-download gunz cause you forget what you changed..
because you need a by pass or it wont let ya on.

EDIT 2- God hack you edit the dmg or change the damage dealt but not outgoing damage.. Best to just change all the damage weaps do to 0 but the ones you use. NEEDS BYPASS OR WONT LET YA ON

EDIT 3- I dont get what you mean.. You mean move XML files from other places into the system file? just click and drag into the winrar window.

EDIT 5- Yep.. Bypass needed for god mode.

I'm working on a bypass.. So give me a few days. Or look around other sites or try to find a turorial to make your own. =D

Which lines do you NOP out to bypass the checking of zitems? I tried following a tutorial somewhere but it only does programs like speedhacks and stuff. Only thing i really wanna edit is the zitem thing.

Here is the "bypass" method for zitem, although it's so fukking simple I won't even call it a bypass... nor a method.. :) Anyways just do the following to be able to use a modified zitem file:

Once you are at the log-in screen alt-tab out of the game, copy the original system.mrs (for your sake, I hope you made a backup) over your modified system.mrs and then alt-tab back into the game and log-in. Now have fun :)

This works just like in SWAT4... the game reads the contents of the system.mrs when it loads, but only checks the crc32 checksum when you log in. That's why this "bypass" works like a charm.

Doesn't work. It says that system.mrs is in use already, so I can't rename+copy over it.

Because editing some things is just serversided. Such as ammo.. Modifying ammo to 10million will make you see you shooting limitless ammo but others will only see till its normal ammount.

Yes but you can still edit delay + AP + HP bonuses. Nothin like shooting 3 rockets in 0.01 seconds.

Make a game with a friend or something that wont blow your brains out.. Now make him hit you once. using a packet editor. Find which packets were sent.. and changed.. It will work better if your naked because you might modify AP. Then stop those packets so you dont take damage.. Another way would be.. get hurt. Then start recording and pick up a health pick up. Look through what changed amd figure out the one the packet that modified your HP and constantly send that packet again and again. So as long as you dont die in 1 hit, you will heal crazy fast and it will be like god mode. Not sure, but it might also make the effect of being healed (The red glow) Which would make it very noticable.. Hope this helped.

you can also edit the range of the swords but it needs a bypass same thing for the delay of massive strike.

wel i could only edit the speed of the weapons the rest is server side u cant change bounty-level needed for it etc and use dagger set speed 1 :D very funny go to a level 1-8 server
and just say ive got military dagger v4 its an level 48 dagger but i cracked it 2 my level

So your saying.. you modified the damage that is done to you? Why are you complaining?? Set it from to 5-10(Less suspicious because you would have 30-4 instead of 50-0 in games)Who needs auto kill when volvers do 10 dmg per shot to you? Combined with 100% Healthkits and you got yourself one hard to kill person.

Heres what I do.. Extract the files then right click them and click EDIT then when your done, move the moddified one into the mrs file.

Dont forget to point out that RIGHT ABOVE "jak and daxter's" post is another one that is from "PackardBell" on July 12th that says the hack DOES NOT WORK.
