Hey there, I was wondering how do u dupe in a private server? I was looking around the forums and noticed and the only way to do this is through an ro proxy. Luckily for me I have no clue on what an roproxy is, where to get it, and how to use it? Is there anyone kind enough to post or pm a tutorial on how to dupe in a private server?

Here's how to use it.

1. Put roproxy in your sclientinfo.xml. You may use notepad for editing.

2. Open the ROproxy.exe, put the SERVER ip in.
3. Open RO and go to the server list, select roproxy and log in for that server.

That's it. You are now using ROPROXY. Good Luck!

win i tried to register this one it says 53 files not found and because of this i cant run roproxy need help here pls reply soon! im getting on it!

I will tell you how to do it but there is one problem roproxy works ONLY on servers without the adv. classes.
Ok here is what you do:

STEP1.
Open your sclient and add this:
<connection>
<display>roproxy</display>
<desc>app</desc>
<address>127.0.0.1</address>
<port>6900</port>
<version>0</version>
<langtype>0</langtype>
<registrationweb></registrationweb>
</connection>

so that it will be on top of the <connection> of the server you playing on.Save the changes.

STEP2.
Run the roproxy and if you get errors of missing files(should be 2 files) just type their names in google and you should find them in no time.Put those files in your Windows folder. Now after you manage to run roproxy you will see there a bar with default ip in it replace that ip with the ip of the server you playing on.After adding the ip open the window on the left called "config" check the s-port box and replace the servers port(which can be found in sclient) on the right side of the check box, now dont close the roproxy!!!If you will close it it wont work you have to keep it open!!!

STEP3.
Run your RO.Now if you did everything right you should see in the box where you choose servers a roproxy server, enter it and log in with your account and thats it.

Step4.
In order to dup you need to trade in the game with someone and give him atleasy 3 items(you can also put like 100 appels and it each time you press redeal it will give you 99 apples) of the same type like 3 phreeoni cards and no this duping does not work with equipments only with items which you can have few in one(apples,cards,potions etc.) after you put your item in the trading window minimize RO and go to your roproxy open the "other" window and press redeal few times now go back to RO and finish the trade.

Im realy sorry for this long long long...post. I hope it helped you.

hah trying to dupe with roproxy is futile, go ahead, try, but your waisting your time. the vend dupe and redeal dupe have both been patched.storage dupe has also been patched although few knew it ever existed...

does all this all works?? again, depends on the server. You may try all these methods. Some servers have bugs which you may abuse. But the best that I found now is using RoProxy. :)

if it doesn't have an sclientinfo.xml, then extract it from sdata.grf or adata.grf . . .

google grf factory to be able to extract data from a grf . . .

the last time i used roproxy was september 2004. after that time when the trans job went out on all private servers, it stopped working coz athena and aegis patched it. deal dupe, vend dupe was patched but spamming still works.

it doesn't work on pRO coz i tried it several times last year.

behelit is the developer of the program. he just gt bored playing RO so he discontinued his project.

you can experiment with master version. ranging from 0 - 30.

It means you put the ip of roproxy in your sclient is 127.0.0.1 CHANGE IT IN YOU SERVER not 127.0.0.1

Use this at your own risk btw if your dealing with someone he/she should not know that you are duping

another method is viewing sclientinfo.xml in data folder or in the .GRF file. use grftool to view/extract files inside .GRF files. :)

Theres a tutorial for it and yes it works on aero 1 & 2 just use common sense on how to do that........................................ And search here in the forums........................................

ok i play on XileRO and i have everything working up untill i get to my character selection, when i get to character selection i can select a character but after i select one it says failed to connect. could someone please respond on what i should do because i have tried a few things so far and nothing has worked. thank you.

but theres another duping hack that work in private server but i dont think its for public

It's better if you will not share it to the public cause some people abuse it............ Better keep it to yourself and be private about it...............................
