Punkbuster screenshoting question within...

Below is a snipit of the blurb for admins doing screenshots with PB. I have a question/concern of whether if a person is running dual-monitor desktops whether PB will send the server a screen capture of my whole desktop or a blank one even if the 'game' is active window at the moment? Can anyone verify either way? What if someone is running the 'game' in windows mode with other sensitive things still visible?


Also, Admins should keep in mind that PunkBuster will not take a screenshot from a player who has minimized his local game or who has an application active other than the game itself. In those cases, an empty black screenshot image is sent with text at the bottom explaining why the Capture failed. Also, there are a few video display setups that cannot be correctly captured at this time. These setups also do not allow the game itself to take screenshots using the built-in non-PunkBuster method.

The SS will focus on the game eaven in windowed mode, that it dont is a myth, just try it,
Run windowed and type PB_GETSS in game in the console, look in your PB folder- Screenshots to see them after. You can ofcourse also try your dual screen theory like that.
There is very easy ways to get a Black SS, if you know a litle bit of coding, all discussed in the BF42 and BFV section here at MPC. Though I think alot of server admins these days would get suspicious if a black SS is returned.

Now that took me 5 seconds of ADVANCED SEARCH. I just cant belive you tried hard enough...or. If thats all the patience you have I sugest dont eaven try to do this hack as you will need just that, PATIENCE;)

There are several good excuses..that are legit for giving black screen shots..so have your excuses ready when questioned by server admins..two good excuses are (uhhh I’m still running windows 98,,,and oh,, yeh its because I have a ATI x800 series video card..
Most admins know this and try and trick you into telling them your setup..before you have a chance to think about it..that’s been my experience..but I was ready ,,,now so are you…lol

thats correct about 98,,so it sais,, but I wonder if its just because of 98's 512 ram limit. or if it flat out doesnt support it,,maybe Ill give it a try and see..I'm am sure that if it did work on 98 it would be a lag fest..for sure..
