Punkbuster has begun scanning the .exe for changes (and possibly the .dlls).

I tested this by playing the game with no hacks enabled for 5 mins and then turning hacks on (which modify the code in the .exe) and it kicked pretty quickly (<2 mins). I did this twice and also noted that I originally got kicked before I did all this testing. This began around 4PM EST USA today:

Appears to not be a hack kick or any kind of punishment, just a kick for memory corruption. I have been using my hack for awhile now with no probs until today. I haven't been watching to see if Punkbuster has been updating or anything, someone else will have to report. Scanning has definitely begun, though.

edit: i had an image but for some reason i cannot upload a DAMN thing to this forum. Really I am not this stupid-

oh well. take my word for it. it says:

Punkbuster Error
You have been kicked for 0 minutes do to the following error: Corrupted Memory

it's not just you, man... doesn't work for for me either.

i tested yesterday some code like you, cal - i got the same kick reason as when itc 0.99 got detected: 80174 File/Memory Corruption.
a took a closer look at this and saw som problems that appear, when this detection is passed:
- if you change specific sections permanently, it is detected by improper md5 check
- if you patch the exe file or dlls permanentely in specific areas, then you'll get an md5 error
i don't know if thats your error code, because of the not working photo link...
i wanted to disable a complete function by changing two jumps i got kicked. anyway, i found a way to inject code in the main areas of the exe and renddx9.dll, without getting detected - nowater and recoil movement.
hope to see your pic and an interesting thread about detection schemes...

it is indeed catching all kind of memory patching currently inside the exe. code cave, nopping, force jump anything that doesnt pass the md5 check is good for kick :(
