MPC radio djs will actually play,if they have the file in their PC,you song request.
The question is how can I request songs. Here are some easy ways to make that happen:
Connect to our IRC Channel : #mpcradio ,if the dj who broadcasts is there just request the song you wish to hear
Get the DJ's AIM/ICQ/MSN from our radio hack on the main page of MPCforum.com and contact him over IM
Make a new thread here with the following format:
Thread Title:[DJ Name]Requesting Song
Main Body: Put the full info of the song you wish to hear Artist - Title - Album
Only when luck777jojo broadcasts:
Go to http://radio.mpcforum.com and using the form there request a song. That option works only when luck777jojo broadcasts.
I would recommend the IRC request since it is the fastest of all and of course when luck is online use the site's form.

Another way to request a song very easily is going to http://mpcradio.09d.info/ and entering your request. You do not need any extra program, just your browser. ;)

http://mpcradio.09d.info/ is for practically every dj. Though some might not look at the site, I certainly always do. But, vf, you already knew that right? :p

Well as we told you before.. if we find it useful, we'll incorporate it here on MPC officially for the DJs like luck suggested. I've tried a few times to use it but it was loading really slowly.. then I would see the form you spoke of.
Those Requests are nice, but I prefer luck's system more because you get to see what you can actually request and listen to. Not to look down or anything to your system DJ Van Stino, but being able to actually see what's on the playlist ensures that the person who wants to listen to something and request it will know it's possible :)

Yea but luck's system is only for luck, and come to think about it... i've never heard luck play. Whizzkid made the system so i'll ask him if he can put another tray on the homepage where the logged in DJ can make a link to the list of songs he places on his ows site. I, for example, have put my list here (http://users.telenet.be/vanstino/songs.txt) . If i could fill in my URL somewhere on the admin part of the site, people could scroll trough the list.
I'll ask him if I see him around...

I've had a word with him about it and as soon as we get a solid DJ team we'll start considering implementing it. For now use your own method and see how people find it, if they use it, etc. It will be good as a test drive to know in the future for the DJ team as a total.
