[Tutorial]blending text [PS]

this is a tut for photoshop


first of all creat your new image i will be using this 1

now grap the text tool and type your name in white

Ok now to blend it. Right click the text layer and select blending options.

Blending options

Set the layer to Soft light


Drop shadow

Distance - 0
Spread - 7
Size - 8


Bevel and Emboss

Depth - 10
size - 2
soften - 2


Stroke

Color - Black
Pxl - 1
Opacity - 40 - 50

Click ok and your text should blend nicely.

has anyone ever tried selecting the text layer like you would a render before blending it, then adding a layer mask to the text layer to make it blend like a render would? it actually looks pretty cool

I didnt mean that I dont know how to make backrounds i meant the text is actually a small part of the avatar/sig/designed thingy
and its a nice tutorial
