Change your cdkey(GUID) with 1.03 patch info

Has anyone come up with a new form to change the CDKEY with encryption applied?

Have not tried it yet, but for those who do not know...

Open Start;
Run: Enter the following below.

%programfiles%\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support\Battlefield 2_code.exe

Change your CDKEY, hopefully it will be encrypted.

Assuming we can get the CD-key to change, can you still use your old (Banned) account with a new CD-key?

The game account is held with EA Games and has nothing to do with the PB ban, so you can use the smae game-name with a new CD-Key. Therefore nothing has changed.

Lol I found a better way, go to Battlefield 2\SupportXP1\Battlefield 2 Special Forces_code.exe

it also brings up the same thing for the original game but its in the Support folder not the SupportXP1 and its called Battlefield 2_code.exe i think.

Also attached is the batch file they suggest you use to find your CD_key;
1] Save to desktop
2] Run and note your CD-Key
3] Store somewhere safe!

Download which file?

If your after the first file from Spont's post then you can find that file within your BF2 CD or folder. The file attached by me is working.

That file should be in your Bf2 folder and/or CD. Search you hard-drive or CD for the file.

Note Spont already told you were to look in his post for the file:

BF2CDKeyCheck.exe comes from the patchs temp folder.
Battlefield 2_code.exe comes from C: \Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\Support

The file is to find the installed key nothing more.

MPC doesn't support warez in any way, so do not ask those questions here - take this as a once only verbal warning. If you need another key either buy the game or contact EA Support for a new one (cheaper option).
