[Tutorial] how to make ur own map vac, newbie way.

This tutorial will teach newbies a easy way of obtaining the addresses for map vacs without using of pointers and offsets. i tested this in msea and it works.

the idea is easy, 1st u need to know the various boundaries of a certain map, and when u change map u search for a "changed value". I shall illustrate this more.

1: open ce/maple Pic
2: go into cash shop.
3: in ce search 4bytes (dun tick the fast scan) and search for 4294966946 pic
4: go back in game and exit cash shop.
5: in ce search for "changed value" pic
6: go back into cash shop.
7: in ce search for exac value and typr 4294966946 again. u should get 1 address left, add this address into the list and there u have it, that's the address for the left wall boundary. pic
no pointer + offset needed to find this.
compare

now all u have to do is to repeat the steps for the right/top/bottom and u'll have the addresses of all the boundaries.

Important: this is a DMA so everytime u restart maple u have to do this again cos the address changes every time.

map grids: cash shop
left: 4294966946
right: 4294967106
top: 4294967181
bottom: 4294966871

Map grids: cash shop (for those who have checked the "Show values as if they are signed" in ce's settings). if u have that option ticked then u search for -350 4bytes in step 3 instead.

left: -350
right: -190
top: -425
bottom: -115

use the grids to find the boundaries addresses by the method i just taught, then add them all to the list.

change to the map u want to vac, then double click on the "value" of each address u added and change to the position u want the monsters to be vac to. enjoy. to "turn off", simply change map/channel/logout.

EDITED: oms cash shop dont work with grids... will post alternate map's grids. watch this space.

EDIT:i've a problem....when i scan for the value the error says"no readable memory found in the region u specified"
may i know what C.E version u're using and what settings u set?

scan for 4bytes(do not tick the fast scan or the hex box)

oms uses the same way, just that u had to use sumbeam's pointer + offset to find the boundaries value 1st, then write it down and u can use my method.

no need to freeze.. remember to change the value onlt AFTER u are in the map u want to vac, cos when u change map it'll be resetted. and u need to kill the mobs 1 time 1st, the next time they spawn they'll spawn in the vac spot.

p.s. remember to define a vac spot u know of.. [0,0] is a safe spot, look around for a custer of mobs if u dont know where 0,0 is.

go http://forum.cheatengine.org/ read up on how to use cheat engine. its not very hard. then search the forums for threads teaching how to use cheat engine to search,add,freeze etc.

p.s. u dont need to know programming to be able to use this method, u just need to know how to use ce.

if you dont know what c.e or dont know how to change value..then the chances of you gettin this to work is less then 0%
