First and foremost thx for this app BUT after using this I started getting the BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH on VISTA with the message IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and the computer restarts

I'm so disappointed since I had installed vista just a week ago and wasn't having any problems

I might have to re-install vista if I want to play the game.

Can you help in anyway BlackDove? I have researched without success...

Haha, as if this simple user-mode VB app would cause BSODs. Try upgrading to the latest video card drivers and DirectX. Probably Alt+Tabbing messing with your video card...

Well I only stated what happened...
It's most likely a coincidence, I will reinstall the Directx and video drivers.

COD WAW needs to be running.

However it's running and i just ALT TAB ???

That only happens when the game Window cannot be found. After alt+tabbing, post a screenshot that includes the game window and maybe I can see what's wrong...

look at the pb icon on the right of the servers list..
If you press on the pb button 2 times on the head of the page you should see non pb servers
They have no pb icon

If you followed the steps correctly to update, then you would have renamed the PB folder. Doing this makes sure that PB is disabled.

Seeing as about 95% of the servers are PB-enabled, you will have to adjust the filter in the in-game browser to show non-PB servers only.

After playing in a non-PB server to "lock in" your stats (although I think the need to actually play is B.S.), quit the game and rename the PB folder back to "pb". This enables PB again without ever touching console commands.

Since CoD 5 comes out today, I ask anyone who has a legal retail copy to PM me a download link to the multiplayer executable so that EA may be updated. Chances are that I won't have a chance to purchase this game for a few days and I want an updated EA to be available ASAP. Thanks...
