[Help] Can't 'Create online Profile'

I just got the new win7. And i installed cod5 on it. But when i have to create an online profile, i type in a random name, and then it asks me again for creating an online profile. This continues the whole time, no matter what name i type in it. Any help?

go to cod website make a acc. and this name that u use on the cod website use it on codwaw ^^

Here is how you do it, it has worked for me!
go to CUsers\[YOUR NAME HERE]\AppData\Local\Activision\CoDWaW\players
make sure you have "SHOW HIDDEN FILES" Enabled! To access APPDATA!
Then create you a new FOLDER with the name you want make sure it is something that probally has not already been used! or you will get this error "DW PROFILE_NAME_IN_USE 800 -"
Next create a txt file in the "PROFILES" folder not the one with the name you want. Name it "Active" Then type in your name you put on the folder! exit start Call of duty:WAW And enjoy!

I did this, as I'm having same problem, but when I start the game up it says "Offline:<insert username here>" and above it it says "Go Online" and when I click it, it starts the loop again, and when I go back to folder, it has replaced my name in Active with $$$ and created a new folder named $$$.
