How to downgrade WaW from 1.7 to 1.6[for BlackDove's Rank Hack]

First,I apologize if there's another thread like this.
I noticed that Prestige 10 Hack(EaWaW) doesn't work for 1.7,but lvl 65 no prestige works.To make Prestige 10 work,you need to downgrade your game from 1.7 to 1.6.
Here are the steps.

1.Open the start menu and select run
2.Type regedit.exe and the regedit will open.
3.On the left side there should be 4 folders. U wan't HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then SOFTWARE then Activsion then Call of Duty World at War. Now look on the right side.
4.Double click Version and replace 1.7 with 1.5 click ok then close
the regedit.Now run the 1.6 to 1.7 patch and unstall it.
5.Now run the 1.6 patch and unstall that(don't give me backshat just follow my orders)
6.now run the 1.6 patch again to install it. There we go you have got 1.6 back.

Additional:
Otherwise,if you don't know how to get prestige 10,here we go:
1.Unrar the EaWaW.zip everywhere on the disk.
2.Rename playerstats.txt to other name(don't forget ".txt"!!; ex: noprestige.txt)
3.Rename playerstats65prestige to playerstats.(If it ask about file extension change,do it playerstats.txt;if only "playerstats" works,don't do it .txt)
4.Open Easy Account.exe
5.Open CoD WaW,skip profile creation
6.Press Easy Upgrade.
And Ta-Da!You're full prestige 10.
7.Now install 1.7 again.
