Cant Find any servers

I'm using a Cable modem
I install the game and patch all fine no problems what so ever, I get into the game and goto internet games and find that no servers come up, i hit refresh and nothing happens i get a dial tone. Alright no biggy, i download crapspy, thinking I can join games using that, i login and i get tons of servers, i click one the games, game loads but before anything happens all i get is "cannot find host" damn, so i tryed about 18 different servers and same stuff happen.

so i dont know what to do, I even turned my firewall off and same stuff

I asked bunches of people on gamespy but they no help, so i came here.

I got it working, it turns out it was directX, so if your all having the same problem juss reinstall directX or install the new directX9
