Need help really bad. T_T

This is probably going to piss off alot of people... but I am utterly stuck. Before you go ranting off on my ass about using the "search" button, I can't, so bear with me. (I go to search, type in some key words, click search, and it says page cannot be displayed, I've restarted my comp, restarted browser... whole bit)

So my problem:
I'm just trying to bypass so far, I can't even get that far.
I've downloaded and installed the rev588, apache, ce.52, prevx home, the whole bit. I've installed the new game guard files just fine, deleted the old ones, and I've put the nProtect > GameGuard > RealServer thing in the apache server as well.
I've followed every bypassing guide I can to the letter, but it doesn't work.
Here's what I do: Open apache server, let it connect and all, open CE, and open prevx.
Open up mapleglobal and quickly attach the process with CE, it attaches FINE. But when maple starts going, it makes it to the logon screen, goes black, and shuts off. No messages. Just shuts off. Any help or links to tutorials would be IMMENSELY appreciated.

May I ask... Why you are tryin Rev 588... why do people go for this instead of 566, why does it amuse them to try 588...???

Check your host file, change the order of the two ips in the so gameguard.maplestory.com is last. I use Abyss with 588 files, works fine.

Try the search function again. The search button can be used, it working again.

Thanks a ton, I'm gonna try all the suggestions you guys said. btw to Develepor, my prevx was NOT set to windows memory query mode, I changed it and save. Thanks.

Alot of people mess up with the htdocs folder, and putting it in the corerect place, try searching luciferguard, his tutorial was very informative

OK I am able to successfully bypass maple! woohoo!
BUT lol
I can't bypass it while I have the CE v0.20 open.

Can anybody give me a link for a rootkit download? That would help alot.

Any tips/help would be appreciated.

Well just a warning man, as if it is'nt bad enough that you're using the currently needed programs that already give you a good chance of causing problems with ur pc to bypass maple story, going out and downloading another rootkit can easily add to the chance of ending up with a shell of useless machinery where your pc used to be 0_o...lol no im just kidding, it probly won't get that bad, but if nobody gives u somewhere that you can get a rootkit, it's probably because they don't want to be responsible for the possibility that you'll mess up ur pc 0_o
