DoDS_Ep2_Materials

Consistency Status = No longer passing on July, 27th 2008

Update = Added Colored models

This is a material wallhack for the new Day of Defeat Source update (Source -> Ep2 Engine Update) I created with VTFEdit and GCFScape.

Inversing the materials is simple, you can find a tutorial somewhere, but it is exactly the same as inversing TF2 materials due to the engine.

Not sure when this will be patched but I expect that it will.

To Install, Place the "materials" folder in...
C: \Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\<YourUserName>\Day of Defeat Source\dod\

Material ""hacks"" cannot and I expect never will be detected by VaC2, all Valve will do is update the game engine blocking texture commands that allow this inversing to happen.

Interesting. I might reinstall DOD: S and have some fun

EDIT: Everytime I find a server with no consistency and no sv_pure 1 or 2 I get an HL2.exe error...lol.

It passes the consistency check for me every time, I've been playing on multiple servers with it, psyche500, not sure what the problem is for at all, I never got that.

Today i'll be adding colored models (Allied = Green ; German = Red)

EDIT:

Tried it today, no longer passes consistency checks,

From here you'll need a sv_consistency bypass, i'll try using different commands, stay tuned.

Actually I'm going to try to reinstall dods...something tells me my game files are ****ed up and thats why I get the consistency thing and the crashes...I'll get back to you later.

Dont bother, its not going to do anything, I checked the console, it is the files not passing the consistency check, even though it says to check consistency for "Americna_rocket.mdl" it is the ""hacked"" files causing that.

Just delete the DoDS_Ep2_Materials, or get a consistency bypass.

I've heard the $sinemin and $sinemax isn't working either...since these use $ignorez I have no idea of what you could use now...:/

so the only way this will work is by usin those bypass hacks too???..why is it so complicated?..isnt it the same as the TF2 engine..or r wallhacks for DoDS harder to make now???

It freezes the adresses after we check it right? if so, then we do not need the hack running after picking what we want...that should atleast avoid detection even more. Is this possible?
