Anyone know how to hack a textbased game? I tried to hack www.stratholm.com using T-search, it worked.. But its just like all the other games. E.g:

Original Gold:1
Hacked Gold:999,999,999,999

But when i buy something:
You do not have anough money,gold or /w/e

Anyone know how to get this work? I'll try freezing the value..

[Edit#2] You need IExplorer 6.0 or higher or Maxthin browser to play the game. I use maxthon. [Edit#2]

It didn't work because the "gold" value is server-side. Most MUDs are like that, so hacking in them is impossible as far as I know.

Why u not hack the value of price in memory, if u found the address u can change the value to 0.

Hmm.. I'll try.. But if I serach for the price it finds atleast 1000 results.. But if I use rtmoney I can edit all the values.. Hmm.. I'll update when I've tried. Thanks for the idea

I found one adress with T-search and 0 adresses with ArtMoney.. NAd I tried to change the value with T-search to 0 but it didnt work..

Alright, I got WPE Pro but.. I understand nearly nothing on how to use it on a textbased game since the tutorial I got was for SoF... =/ A little help please? I also Tried to search the forum but I still couldnt find anything.

just mess around with all the buttons, youll find out eventually. do you think linus torvald has help when he created linux?

I messed around but I didnt see any values or codes, no nothing! All I saw was this.. Red nothingness!

Help please. If anyone can just go to that website (www.stratholm.com) and find the code/value/What ever to the gold or unused exp and write it here. Please. I desperatly need it..

Or can anyone atleast give me a tutorial?

Humm... I (Err.. My dad) found the value and how to changer it. But he didnt understand how because it made no difference. He could only find recieved packets with my damag,gold,exp and such. But he coulndt find any packets to send with that kind of stuff in it.. =/ Help
